If you’re a power user, by any definition of the word, then you probably have used the command prompt in Windows before. It’s also very likely that you’ve been frustrated by the inability to resize the window to anything wider than 24 characters. I’ve been using the windows command prompt for years and always just pegged it on Microsoft being ‘teh suck’, and assumed there wasn’t any other way to go about it. Today I discovered it doesn’t have to be this way.

Found this by way of my Twitter contacts: Digitarius has started up a new site, KnoxOnlineGamers, aimed at getting Knoxville area gamers connected. Right now it’s just a phpBB forum, but I’m liking it already. Who knows what could come if it in the future.
I’ve spent the last day getting this release ready. Improvements include:
- Upgraded to Wordpress 2.6 (from WP 2.2)
- New theme (powered by a newer version of K2)
- Many fruitless hours spent trying to get OpenID working (never did get it working)
- A wide variety of posts may or not be broken
Let me know what you think or if you find something that needs fixing.
It’s a pain in the butt to get any of it working. Go figure. You knew (should have known) you were getting yourself into this kind of thing when you installed 64-bit XP in the first place.
