This was an assignment for our lab. Find a way to make the bulb not light up. I won. Hopefully the lab will become a little bit more challenging later on this year.

What does this have to do with physics? Couldn’t you win just by letting the bulb sit there? I mean there is only one wire and…
Well you see, they all had to be touching each other.
I don’t get it //scratching head//
The circuit is either complete or it’s not. Surely no one failed to complete this lab successfully in 2 minutes and go home, or not?
Well, there was a little bit more to the lab than just this exercise, but it was all really basic.
That’s brilliant! When I did it, they just had pictures of different bulb-battery-wire configurations and it was up to us to determine which would and wouldn’t work.
My favorite part of that lab was, once you get into three bulbs, they barely light up because the people who wrote the lab have no clue what they’re doing.
(Here’s a bonus for you: Firefox doesn’t have the word “favorite” in it’s dictionary, just “favourite”. “Firefox” isn’t there either.
)
Wow, you must have a really old version of the Firefox spelling dictionary, because favorite is definitely in my dictionary.
