After a few hours of dedicated work, I’ve got this wonderful new toy working in linux: Beryl. Think of all the graphical effects that Apple’s OS X hosts and combine that with anything you get from Windows Vista on a high end machine plus some features that neither have even dreamed of. Here’s a little sample of what’s possible with this 3D window manager:

Also, the new Death Note opening is unbelievable even if the taste in music is a little iffy.

The only problem is, you’re running a Linux system. How can you play BF2142!?
