My cell phone that I got just about 25 days ago is already completely useless. It turns on and lites up, but that’s about all that it does now. I’ve already been back to one Cingular store and spent time on their website with the live chat support so far and I’ll have to take it back to the store in Knoxville to get anything done about it unless I want to exchange it by mail, and I’m just assuming they don’t ship to P.O. boxes, so that’s out of the question. Sparing any more details at the moment, it won’t be working again until at least this weekend if not longer.
In other news, Naruto just ended after around two years of filler. They just started a second show this week titled “Naruto: Shippuuden” that started off with a double episode that I just watched. Ending the long filler, this one picks up with Naruto coming back from a few years of training ready to go get Sasuke back and it holds up the standard that the early episodes set several years ago, so keep your eye on that one. Register over at Naruto-Kun.com for a free direct download of it.

Watch this very unusual way to play guitar. Almost all hammer-ons/pull-offs.

In catching up, I’m still maintaining a good level of pwnage in physics. I’m keeping up in Java pretty well now. Matrix Algebra is as dull as ever. I’m anticipating a getting a poor grade on the history test I’m getting back tomorrow due to the lack of study available from all the Java programming last week.
This weekend was pretty much just restful. Watched a lot of movies. A lot. Slept through a bit, but not much. Amongst the movies, Singing in the Rain is still my favorite. I noticed during the movie that even if everybody else thinks it’s funnier than you and you know it, but you’re still the only one laughing, it’s just not as enjoyable. I can’t say if this only applies to movies, but I’m willing to guess that it’s just how laughter works.
Ah hah! I made it through the week with a pretty decent conclusion. I got a 92 on that Java that I spent 3 days on, but 5 of those missing points were just from being a day late with it. I also finally got the second Java program done after another 5 or so hours of work on it, and then some few hours’ work on physics homework and some matrix algebra and I was homebound again.
(And my thumb drive works again after a quick washing off in the sink and a wrapping in duct tape, but I went ahead and bought myself a new one along with some other cool toys at the uber cheap LedShoppe)
