During the frustration of yesterday’s Java problems I managed to pry the plastic housing off of my thumb drive. Naturally I assume I can just glue the plastic back around it. All I had was Elmer’s so naturally: “Elmer’s couldn’t be conductive, could it?” Well, yeah, maybe it is after all. And in completely unrelated matters, my thumb drive randomly doesn’t work any more. EDIT: It started working again after I rinsed off all the excess glue and let it dry off, but sans case, I’m not nearly as trusting to just toss it in my pocket with my keys and such, so I’ve already ordered a new one on newegg.
